"On February 1, the American Heart Association (AHA) celebrates National Go Red for Women Day. The event raises awareness about heart disease, which is the leading cause of death for women worldwide. The AHA's campaign includes tips on heart disease prevention through healthy eating, exercise, mental health and well-being, sleep, stress management, and quitting tobacco. What is notably missing, however, is attention to the links between pregnancy, breastfeeding, and women's heart health."
