Breastfeeding is not a lifestyle choice. It is a public health issue. It is about protecting the health of moms and their babies. For children, breast milk is proven to support strong brain development and reduce the risk of life-threatening illnesses. For women, as you know, breastfeeding can reduce the risk of cancer, arthritis, and heart disease.
